<p>Sophocles' trilogy on Oedipus concerns a man who, in trying to avoid a terrible prophecy about himself, fullfills it.  MIdway thru the third season, it looks to me like Continuum is using the same plot device.  Kiera's and Carlos' attempts to rein in Liber8, who are trying to avoid the dystopia, create it.  We see the Vancouver Police Dept. privatized and transformed into the CPS.  Instead of preventing dystopia, Liber8 triggers it.  Kiera and Carlos seem to be starting to suspect that LIber8 are the good guys.  For me the main suspense element is whether they'll flip.  No spoilers please! </p>

<p>I just started watching Continuum and only see the first couple of episodes. I’m not clear on how the execution was supposed to kill the criminals. Is this explained later? </p>

<p>Well I guess this Forum has gone cold by the time of my arrival. Hmm! Yeah about time and arrivals... no doubt everything I have to say has already been covered but maybe very few of you see things from my perspective. </p><p>I watched all four Seasons of Continuum back to back in one week and what a glorious experience it has been. I watched the final episode tonight on my birthday, which I hope has no more significance than mere coincidence otherwise I could quite easily freak myself... er... out! </p><p>Apart from feeling like a time traveller I will move to more important topics: 1. What happened to the wart on super-sexy Rachel Nichol's right eye between Seasons one and two? 2. Couldn't a happier ending have been arranged? </p><p>Well... as I doubt things are still active on this forum I shall endeavour to answer my own questions in this vast, echoeing void. </p><p>1. C'mon! Never heard of plastic surgery? And why shouldn't someone with a new income stream indulge their vanity? I would. </p><p>2. Of course if Kira altered the time-stream then she never had to leave her time thus leading to the sad ending of seeing Sam and future Kira/Mother but with Alex's vast wealth he could arrange introductions and explanations and access. Super happy ending... Sam has two beautiful Moms. </p><p>So much to say but mainly, as a Brit, Canadian TV is freakin awesome and I'm a complete sucker for great Female leads. Just a little bit sad it's all over but very thankful that cool Canadian TV do not drag things out for ten or twelve seasons like... er... other dodgy TV nations ahem! USA. Canada you are so cool! </p><p>Aaaaand how Rachel Nichols' body language changed from the early action scenes to the last and final!!! Of course there are stunt doubles but you can see the diferrence the Martial training has had on Rachel and how she so vastly improved. </p><p>Gawd Damn Rachel is so sexy. And I'm seriously missing Continuum already. God bless that Maple leaf and the cool creatives therein. </p><p>What do I do now? Vast void to fill; well... find a forum to weep into. </p>

I am not saying that I support their views in any way but if you should consider the Post Apocalyptic Future which they grow up and forced to be subjected to. What would you do? Keira did also let Melissa LaRoche go even though she lied to the police and murdered someone. I understand her intentions. </p><p>From where the CPS stands if you stand against them in any way at all you are decleared a terrorist and they would excute you to make a example of you to scare those who agrees. </p><p>Hannah hated living in the timeline. Alec hated as well and so did Keira when living in the past and Curtis said Keira did more where Liber8 never managed to do. When Keira started to question what Piron did with the food to raise the prices. Greg said careful you were started to sound like Liber8. If he wasn't her husband he could have reported her as terrorist sympathizer. </p>

If you were send back like Keira what would you do? I would mostly gone insane after having future knowledge and if I should prevent a event the horror would give me endless nightmares. Keira was at the edge of going insane.
